About Jeffery Fraser

After spending decades pursuing a wide array of business ventures throughout the United States, Jeffery Scott Fraser has focused his talents on establishment of a luxury adventure lodge in Valdez, Alaska. He and his wife Ingrid are providing strategic leadership for the reopening of the Tsaina Lodge, which sat shuttered for more than six years. The couple had visited the lodge in the past and, after purchasing it and salvaging some of its historic memorabilia, had the structure torn down in 2011 and rebuilt.

Saving the property was a labor of love for Jeffery Fraser, who previously started an array of businesses over the course of a very fruitful career. In 1998, several of his companies combined to become NIC, Inc. He served as CEO of that company in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, until his retirement in 1999 just after taking the company public on the stock market. However, he returned to NIC in 2002 after the dot-com crash and remained until 2008 to help the company recover.

Born in Kansas, Jeffery S. Fraser and his wife have seven children. Fishing, snowboarding, tennis, and rock climbing are among his preferred pastimes. Also a hunter, he participates in bird dog field trials. Jeffery S. Fraser holds an ATP pilot’s license and has a passion for traveling to such locales as Casablanca in the western part of Morocco.
